📋 Description

• Develop, nurture, and manage client relationships through timely and appropriate communication and services • Serve as a trusted personal and business advisor to clients • Provide advisory services to financial institutions regarding FATCA, CRS, Chapter 3 (1042 and 8804 reporting and withholding), and Withholding Foreign Partnerships • Direct multiple consulting, compliance, and tax planning engagements • Design, communicate, and implement innovative planning ideas with client service teams • Guide and manage IRS and state audits • Participate in new business development, including prospecting, networking, and representing CBIZ at industry events • Design and deliver technical training on individual-related tax topics • Recruit, supervise, train, develop, and motivate less experienced team members • Promote a team environment and support management decisions • Contribute to internal tax department management through committee membership and group leader responsibilities • Grow into a financial industry leader in international tax transparency and transform Private Equity processes

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree • 10 years of experience in public accounting or related field • 10 years supervisory experience • Ability to manage deadlines, work on multiple assignments and prioritize each assignment as necessary • Proficient use of applicable technology • Demonstrated ability to communicate verbally and in writing throughout all levels of organization, both internally and externally • Proven high level of business integrity, client service and leadership skills • Must be able to travel based on client and business needs • Comprehensive tax planning and consulting experience and demonstrated expertise in FATCA, CRS, Chapter 3 of the Internal Revenue Code, WHFPs, QIs, 871m or other withholding and reporting regimes • Market leading technical expertise of 1042, 8804, FATCA & CRS returns, and tax form validation (W-8, W-9 or CRS Self-Certifications) • Demonstrated success providing consultative service to global financial services companies with banking and brokerage clients • Ability to effectively present information and appropriately respond to questions from clients and team members • Track record of successful new business development experience • Excellent analytical, supervisory, organizational, and written and verbal communication skills • Experience and continued interest in developing and mentoring junior team members • Proficiency in MS Word, Outlook and Excel • Previous public accounting or law firm experience
