• Responsible for overall coordination, status reporting and stability of project-oriented work efforts. • Partner with DPH’s Communications Office and Commissioner’s Office to develop and implement a robust online presence for OHSP. • Represent OHSP and HWC at events including recruitment, conferences, and professional association events. • Lead development and maintenance of OHSP distribution lists by topic area and project. • Establish and implement project management processes and methodologies to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, adhere to high quality standards and meet stakeholder expectations. • Assemble project plans and teamwork assignments, direct and monitor work efforts daily, identify resource needs, perform quality review, and escalate functional, quality, and timeline issues appropriately. • Track key project milestones and adjust project plans and/or resources to meet stakeholder needs. • Coordinate communication with all areas of the enterprise impacting the scope, budget, risk, and resources of the work effort. • Manage one or more cross-functional projects of varying complexity. • Maintain collegial, productive relationships with colleagues and partners. • Clearly communicate policies and procedures to non-technical audiences.
• Bachelor's degree in public health or other related field. • At least 5-7 years’ experience in project management. • Understanding of public health and healthcare delivery system. • Excellent written/verbal communication and presentation skills. • Skills and demonstrated experience in project management, cultural awareness, health equity, creative problem solving, and innovation. • Strong technical skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Teams, Excel, PowerPoint), and SharePoint. • Extensive knowledge and expertise in the use of project management methodologies and tools, as well as resource management practices. • Proficiency in communications tools such as Constant Contact and Adobe Express a plus. • Excellent judgment and decision making, with strong organizational skills and attention to detail, and business acumen to accomplish project goals and strategic objectives. • Ability to manage multiple timelines, thrive in a complex environment, and successfully address competing priorities.
