📋 Description

• Lead development of curriculum, educational resources, digital learning experiences, and instructional programs for Milady, Cengage’s beauty and wellness division • Ensure instructional content is instructionally sound, engaging, accessible, and aligned with industry trends, state standards, and licensure requirements • Collaborate with partners, industry experts, educators, licensing boards, technology teams, and product teams • Supervise, mentor, and support Content Managers, Learning Designers, and Content Editors • Develop team capabilities, standards, and processes to improve content reuse, scalability, consistency, and speed to market • Establish and maintain instructional quality standards • Review and refine curriculum and instructional methods • Develop assessment tools and methodologies to measure curriculum impact and effectiveness • Represent and advocate for educational offerings at industry events, conferences, and digital forums • Lead curriculum development projects from inception through launch, ensuring on-time and within-budget delivery • Allocate resources and manage timelines, budgets, and workloads • Integrate e-learning tools, multimedia content, and analytics into the curriculum • Identify trends and advancements in beauty education and ed-tech • Establish ongoing user feedback and adjust curriculum based on data insights and learner needs

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Education, Curriculum Development, or related field • 7+ years in curriculum design, instructional leadership, or content development • Experience ideally in Ed Tech, adult education, or the beauty/wellness industry • Expertise in instructional design and adult learning principles • Strong leadership and team management skills • Demonstrated record of developing high-performing teams • Exceptional project management skills • Ability to prioritize, organize, and manage complex projects • Proficiency in content management systems (CMS) and learning management systems (LMS) • Master’s degree preferred
