📋 Description

• Assist in financial analysis, pricing, and risk assessment to estimate outcomes • Develop and analyze complex financial and statistical reports related to the quality, cost, and effectiveness of healthcare services • Prepare budgets and forecasts and analyze financial results related to expectations • Apply mathematics, probability, statistics, finance, and business principles to calculate financial outcomes • Assist with developing probability tables based on statistical data and other pertinent information • Analyze and evaluate required premium rates • Assess cash reserves and liabilities to enable payment of future benefits • Assist with determining the equitable basis for distributing money for insurance benefits • Participate in merger and acquisition analysis • Perform additional responsibilities as assigned by the actuarial team

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience • 0-3 years of actuarial experience • Passed one actuarial exam - REQUIRED • Experience with Excel (pivot tables, formulas, indexing, data analysis) preferred • Experience with VBA preferred • Experience with SQL, SAS, Python, or R programming preferred • Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without the need for employment-based visa sponsorship now or in the future • Sponsorship and future sponsorship are not available, including employment-based visa types H-1B, L-1, O-1, H-1B1, F-1, J-1, OPT, or CPT • Applicants must meet the listed minimum qualifications
