📋 Description

• Manage correspondence and/or appeals, disputes, and reconsiderations processes • Draft and review correspondence to ensure regulatory compliance • Manage issues and provide guidance on review and timely processing • Maintain expert knowledge of contract requirements, policies, procedures, and performance standards • Ensure team compliance with contract requirements, policies, and procedures • Review reporting and analyze activities to identify trends and provide recommendations • Provide expert knowledge, guidance, and education to the team on issues escalated by external agencies, including state, local, and federal governments • Work with the team and leadership to identify process and quality improvement opportunities • Provide leadership updates and insights on goals and objectives • Assist with onboarding, hiring, and training • Lead and champion change within scope of responsibility • Lead and manage others in a matrixed/cross-functional environment with tight timeframes and strict deadlines • Perform other duties as assigned • Comply with all policies and standards

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of related experience, or equivalent experience acquired through accomplishments of applicable knowledge, duties, scope and skill reflective of the level of this position • 2+ years supervisory experience preferred • Advanced knowledge of NCQA and state Medicaid program requirements preferred • Advanced knowledge of appeals process preferred • Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without the need for employment-based visa sponsorship now or in the future • Must not require sponsorship or future sponsorship, including H-1B, L-1, O-1, H-1B1, F-1, J-1, OPT, or CPT
