📋 Description

• Build software for end-to-end data platform migrations, including legacy system analysis, solution design, execution, validation, and decommissioning obsolete platforms • Own and drive large-scale migrations such as Snowflake to BigQuery, including downstream reporting transitions to Looker • Design and implement scalable, reliable data pipelines supporting business analytics • Serve as a subject matter expert for data flows, pipelines, and reporting logic • Ensure operational stability and data quality during critical business periods such as AEP • Diagnose and resolve production issues • Identify data dependencies, risks, and optimization opportunities across systems • Partner with analytics, BI, and business stakeholders to deliver trusted, performant data solutions • Provide technical guidance to peers and raise engineering standards • Own projects from design through production, including documentation and knowledge transfer

🎯 Requirements

• Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Information Systems, Data Science, Data Analytics, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field • Three (3) years of work experience in the position offered, as a Data Engineer, Software Developer, or related occupation • Experience working in a production data environment, building, maintaining, and supporting data pipelines and platforms • Experience leading cloud data migrations and platform modernization efforts • Experience with BigQuery, Snowflake, and cloud-based data architectures • Experience migrating, supporting, and maintaining BI and reporting platforms such as Looker; Mode experience • Proficiency in SQL and Python • Experience with ETL/ELT tools, including Talend, and modern data pipeline patterns • Experience building and managing marketing data integrations • Experience with internal and external API integrations • Knowledge of data warehousing concepts, dimensional modeling, performance optimization, and cost-aware cloud design • Experience delivering end-to-end technical solutions using distributed systems, one of AWS, GCP, or Azure, one of Spark or Kafka, and one of Python, C#, or SQL • Experience with Git, Jira, and one of Tableau, Looker, or Power BI • Experience documenting data architecture and diagrams using Miro, Lucidchart, draw.io, Confluence, and Notion • Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to diverse audiences
