📋 Description

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines and ETL/ELT processes • Build and optimize data models, curated datasets, and data products for reporting, operational analytics, and advanced analytical use cases • Partner with business stakeholders, analysts, architects, and engineering teams to translate requirements into technical solutions • Establish and promote best practices for data quality, testing, monitoring, documentation, lineage, and governance • Troubleshoot and resolve production data issues • Ensure reliability, performance, and scalability of data platforms • Contribute to data platform modernization initiatives, including cloud-based architectures and engineering automation • Participate in code reviews, technical design discussions, and architecture planning • Mentor and support other engineers • Help drive engineering excellence and continuous improvement initiatives

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related technical field • 5+ years of progressive experience in Data Engineering • Advanced proficiency in SQL for data modeling, query optimization, and large-scale data processing • Strong experience with Python for data engineering, automation, and pipeline development • Experience designing and maintaining enterprise-scale ETL/ELT solutions • Strong understanding of relational and dimensional data modeling concepts • Experience working with cloud-based data platforms and modern data architectures • Experience with CI/CD, source control, automated testing, and engineering best practices • Strong communication and collaboration skills with technical and business stakeholders • Minimum home internet speed of 25 Mbps download and 10 Mbps upload • Dedicated workspace without ongoing interruptions to protect member PHI/HIPAA information • Preferred: Databricks • Preferred: Snowflake • Preferred: dbt (Data Build Tool) • Preferred: Healthcare, payer, claims, membership, or population health data experience • Preferred: Experience implementing data governance and data quality frameworks • Preferred: Experience mentoring engineers or leading technical initiatives
