📋 Description

• Attend and participate in ERCOT stakeholder meetings • Write succinct reports within days of each meeting on important presentations, announcements, discussions, and other developments • Provide analysis of emerging market design proposals • Tailor reporting and analysis to clients’ commercial interests and financial, policy, legal, and technical perspectives • Independently identify and define issues according to clients’ commercial interests • Recommend appropriate courses of action for clients • Provide real-time reporting and analysis on developments with immediate and significant commercial impacts • Work closely with clients and address their questions in a timely manner • Conduct regular monthly and quarterly client conference calls • Attract, engage, and support clients through reports, analysis, and consulting projects related to existing and emerging market designs for ERCOT and other regions

🎯 Requirements

• Minimum five (5) years energy industry experience required • Relevant college degree required • Graduate degree or advanced industry training preferred • Wholesale energy market knowledge/experience regarding resource and transmission planning, generation interconnection, resource adequacy, and market design required • ERCOT and related ISO/RTO knowledge/experience strongly preferred • Strong writing skills required • Experience writing under tight deadlines preferred • Strong analytical/quantitative skills and experience required • Strong verbal and public presentation skills preferred • Ability to work independently and collaboratively required • Business development orientation preferred • Ability to work remotely in the Texas region • Ability to attend ERCOT stakeholder meetings and travel periodically to other regional market-related meetings/workshops, industry conferences, client/potential client meetings, and CES headquarters in Philadelphia
