• Respond to crisis calls via the Hope’s Voice Hotline, including after-hours and on-call shifts, as dispatched • Provide crisis intervention to survivors of intimate partner violence, sexual assault, and related crimes • Conduct danger and lethality assessments and develop and document individualized safety plans • Explain survivors’ rights and remedies and facilitate legal counsel referrals • Assist survivors with protective orders, court navigation, and Victim Assistance access • Provide comprehensive case management, including needs assessment, goal planning, and follow-up • Coordinate referrals for housing, healthcare, childcare, education, employment, financial services, and specialized assistance • Build and maintain professional relationships with law enforcement, prosecutors, healthcare providers, courts, financial services, and social service agencies • Represent Hope’s Voice and CFS, Corp. in community interactions and promote available services • Participate in outreach activities and community events • Maintain case notes, data collection, incident reports, and statistical reporting required by ICJI, ICADV, and other funders or regulators • Complete required data entry and maintain confidentiality • Stay current on trauma-informed care, IPV/sexual assault dynamics, and evidence-based prevention strategies • Attend required certifications, training, staff meetings, and professional development
• Bachelor’s degree in social work, psychology, criminal justice, or a related human services field preferred; equivalent combination of education and experience considered • Minimum five (5) years of experience in social services • Direct experience in domestic violence or sexual assault services preferred • Knowledge of IPV and sexual assault dynamics, trauma-informed approaches, and survivor-centered service delivery • Must pass all pre-employment screening requirements of CFS, Corp. and applicable state regulations • No felony convictions or pending felony/misdemeanor charges that would pose risk to survivors or compromise service integrity • Maintain required certifications • Attend mandatory training, staff meetings, and professional development • Ability to provide services without regard to gender, race, ethnicity, religion, national origin, sexual orientation, or lifestyle • Ability to maintain strict confidentiality in accordance with applicable law and organizational policy • Adherence to VAWA, HIPAA, 42 CFR Part 2 where applicable, Joint Commission standards, and organizational policies
