📋 Description

• Deliver complete mechanical designs including tolerance stacks, coordinate CTE/Structural analysis, and assembly procedures • Develop CAD design and software workflows converting parametric NX CAD models into formats usable by engineering teams and control systems within analysis algorithms • Develop software automation tools enabling users to interact with NX data from Python • Develop software tooling integrating NX model parameters, coordinate systems, and geometry into existing scientific software tooling • Utilize software tools and the NXOpen API to enable coordinate transformations and quick access to a single source of truth • Apply ASME Y14.100 and ASME Y14.5 standards • Develop software tooling ensuring CAD designs and documentation comply with industry and internal CAD standards • Participate in a matrix organization as a CAD Team member, reporting to a CAD Team Leader/Manager • Work with multidisciplinary scientists and engineers to support functional teams

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or STEM related field • 10 plus years of industry experience • Experienced with engineering release work flows and PLM tools • Five years of experience as a design engineer of mechanical, electro-mechanical or thermal-mechanical systems • Proven ability to extract key data using software automations for NX and TC • Experienced with GD&T per ASME Y14.100 and ASME Y14.5 • Ten plus years of experience in application of Siemens NX and Teamcenter • Self motivated and ability to apply problem solving methods • Experienced with programing Python, NXOpen API, Linux, Git and Computational Geometry • Must perform activities such as typing and sitting for extended periods • Dedication to safety around industrial hazards including heat, cold, noise, fumes, strong magnets, lead, high voltage, high current, pressure systems, and cryogenics • Willingness to occasionally travel or work required nights/weekends/on-call
