📋 Description

• Lead complex features spanning multiple workstreams and shape technical direction • Shape ambiguous product opportunities into technical direction • Write detailed agent specifications with constraints, acceptance criteria, risks, and tradeoffs • Decide when to delegate work to agents and where human judgment is needed • Steer multiple agents through concurrent implementation workstreams • Set verification standards using tests, observability, and production-readiness checks • Own the full feature lifecycle from specification through production monitoring • Build prompts, agent instructions, repository conventions, test harnesses, and playbooks • Influence product decisions across the product area • Co-create specifications and technical direction with product, design, and support • Mentor engineers on agentic software development practices

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of software engineering experience, including building and shipping customer-facing software in production and ownership through production monitoring • Track record of using AI coding agents to deliver features across parallel workstreams • Proficiency in designing systems, data models, and architecture, including performance and data-flow tradeoffs • Ability to write agent specifications and technical documentation readable by people and agents • Depth in context engineering • Ability to design agent workflows for parallel execution with human checkpoints • Confidence reading unfamiliar code and performing root-cause analysis • Ability to perform threat modeling and identify injection, data-handling, and unsafe generated-output vulnerabilities • Fluency in test design and evaluation standards • Version-control judgment at parallel-workstream scale, including branching, reviewing, and integrating concurrent changes • Experience with CI/CD, feature flags, staged rollout, and rollback • Experience with observability, metrics, traces, and incident response • Ability to mentor engineers and influence technical decisions • Strong written and verbal communication • Must pass background and credit checks
