📋 Description

• Own the technical direction of a product area and establish patterns for multiple teams • Define specification-quality standards and review gates • Establish criteria for agentic execution versus direct implementation • Coordinate human and agentic contributors across multiple teams • Set verification practices for safe agent-produced work • Define security architecture, data-flow boundaries, access controls, and threat models • Establish readiness criteria, context, guardrails, and observability for agentic work • Build prompts, agent instructions, repository conventions, test harnesses, and playbooks • Resolve high-risk technical decisions across the product area • Partner with product leadership on roadmap direction • Mentor engineers across teams on specifying, delegating, and verifying agentic work

🎯 Requirements

• 8+ years of software engineering experience • Record of building and shipping customer-facing software in production • Ownership of technical direction across a product area • Track record of setting agent patterns and AI-powered solutions reused by multiple teams • Depth in systems, data models, architecture, performance, and data-flow tradeoffs • Ability to define specification standards and review gates across teams • Command of context engineering • Ability to design agent workflows for parallel execution with human checkpoints • Ability to read unfamiliar code and perform root-cause analysis • Experience setting security and privacy review standards for injection, data handling, and unsafe generated output • Fluency in test design and evaluation standards • Sound judgment coordinating version control at multi-team scale • Skill in CI/CD, feature flags, staged rollout, and rollback • Experience operating and maintaining production software with observability, metrics, traces, and incident response • Ability to mentor engineers across teams and shape technical direction beyond a single team • Strong written and verbal communication • Must pass a background and credit check
