πŸ“‹ Description

β€’ Provide HR partnership and employee relations support to assigned leaders and business areas. β€’ Partner with managers and operational leaders on mid-level to more complex employee relations matters, manager coaching, performance management, investigations, policy application, employee relations trends, employee experience initiatives, and operational people needs. β€’ Serve as a consultative HR partner to assigned business areas, helping leaders address people-related issues, strengthen manager capability, apply HR policies consistently, and support employee experience. β€’ Handle more complex employee relations matters and escalate high-risk, legal, executive-level, enterprise-impact, or highly sensitive matters to senior leadership as needed. β€’ Conduct or support workplace investigations, including planning, interviews, documentation, findings support and recommended next steps. β€’ Provide guidance on ADA/accommodation matters, policy application, corrective action, performance management, employee concerns and workplace conduct. β€’ Identify employee relations trends and operational people issues and recommend practical solutions to assigned leaders and HR leadership. β€’ Support employee experience, engagement, retention, culture and manager capability initiatives for assigned business areas. β€’ Collaborate with HR Centers of Excellence to support consistent and integrated HR solutions.

🎯 Requirements

β€’ High school diploma or equivalent with passage of basic skills test. β€’ Bachelor’s degree or higher in human resources, business administration or a closely related field of study preferred. β€’ Licensed currently or in the process of obtaining a SHRM-CP, PHR, SHRM-SCP, SPHR or other HR related certification preferred but not required. β€’ Hold currently or have the ability to obtain a valid CA state drivers license. β€’ Minimum of five to seven years of progressive HR related experience required, including experience in employee relations, investigations, performance management, corrective action, ADA/accommodation processes, manager coaching and policy application. β€’ Strong knowledge and understanding of applicable CA state licensure, certification, accreditation laws and employment regulations. β€’ Prior experience supporting multi-site or multi-state operations highly preferred. β€’ Prior experience in education, healthcare, behavioral health and/or another compliance-driven environment preferred. β€’ Strong business partnership, employee relations, manager coaching, investigation, documentation, communication, and problem-solving skills. β€’ Ability to influence managers, identify trends, recommend practical solutions, and escalate high-risk matters appropriately. β€’ Excellent verbal and written communication, interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively at all organizational levels. β€’ Ability to assess complex employee relations matters, evaluate risk, identify appropriate next steps, coach managers, recommend practical solutions and determine when senior HR, Legal, CHRO or executive escalation is needed. β€’ Experience with HRIS, case management systems, reporting tools, dashboards and/or other HR related technology preferred. β€’ Well-versed in the use of relevant technology including experience with computers, Microsoft Office Suite, database entry and basic office equipment.
