Charters, Meetings and Incentives at NCLH is the group-sales and event business unit of Norwegian Cruise Line (NCL) that designs and sells chartered sailings, meetings, incentive programs and group cruise packages. It helps planners and organizers book group cruises with discounts, onboard credits and tailored experiences across NCL’s fleet and private-island destinations, supporting logistics, accommodations and event spaces for corporate, association and private groups.

📋 Description

• Seek new and creative opportunities to maximize existing travel-agent business within a designated portfolio of top key accounts in North America • Design and implement local and national marketing strategies and programs to maximize sales and profitable revenue growth • Execute assigned travel partners in the “Marketing to Fill” sales strategy • Analyze promotional programs and return on investment while managing marketing fee and incremental marketing funds • Provide analysis, reporting, and support for key-account performance and strategy • Coordinate marketing activities with regional and consortium headquarters, host key accounts, and internal account teams • Implement regional consortium marketing strategies and initiatives • Identify high-potential consortium members and develop plans to increase sales share • Track regional results and provide monthly reporting to the Regional Sales Director • Collaborate with account directors on marketing plans for national consortium and key accounts • Make in-person sales calls and outbound calls while sourcing new revenue opportunities • Develop solutions to partner obstacles and delegate service or troubleshooting matters to support teams • Maximize affinity and promotional group opportunities to support the booking curve • Develop quarterly and annual territory sales plans • Manage and review budgets for travel, cooperative advertising, and promotions • Maintain agency activity documentation in Salesforce • Stay current on corporate information, policies, procedures, sales and marketing programs, and communications • Represent NCLH professionally at conferences, conventions, trade shows, seminars, ship inspections, and other sales functions • Perform other job-related functions as assigned

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in sales/marketing, business administration or related field, or equivalent combination of education and/or relevant work experience • Minimum 10 years' experience with outside sales or outbound sales calls • Experience handling customer-focused sales tactics • General knowledge of CRM systems • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, including intermediate Excel, Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint skills • Knowledge of Zoom/GoTo meeting platforms • Strong knowledge of current and developing social media platforms • Knowledge of or ability to learn Norwegian reservation systems such as Seaware and Seaweb and e-commerce channels • Excellent communication, negotiation, presentation, analytical, planning, interpersonal, time management, and problem-solving skills • Ability to implement contracts and develop sales and marketing strategies • Ability to manage budgets, forecasting, and cost-of-sale analysis • Ability to work independently and in a team-based environment • Business acumen and knowledge of market and competitive trends in the travel and cruise industry • Excellent verbal and written command of English • Ability to travel within the sales territory, nationally and internationally • Valid state driver's license and clean driving record • Ability to work evenings and/or weekends • Ability to bend and lift up to 30 lbs, with reasonable accommodation • Ability to stand for long periods and provide walking tours aboard vessels, with reasonable accommodation
