📋 Description

• Manage a diverse workers’ compensation caseload from inception through resolution • Provide strategic legal counsel and representation in court, arbitrations, and depositions • Review files and analyze claims and causes of action • Conduct extensive legal research and draft briefs, memoranda, pleadings, and appellate briefs • Represent clients in court, arbitrations, and depositions • Draft and respond to discovery requests • Retain and collaborate with expert witnesses • Prepare for and attend trials • Collaborate with partners, clients, and stakeholders to deliver strategic and practical legal advice • Manage deadlines and assignments with ownership and independence • Meet the required annual billable amount of 1,950 hours

🎯 Requirements

• J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school • Active license to practice law in the state posted, required • Additional bar admissions are a plus • Minimum of 2 years of experience in the practice group • Excellent legal research, writing, and oral advocacy skills • Experience with administrative proceedings, depositions, and mediations • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment • Professional demeanor with strong client-relations and communication skills • Responsive and organized, with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks • Commitment to meeting the required annual billable amount of 1,950 hours
