📋 Description

• Independently manage cases from intake through resolution • Develop and execute legal strategies based on factual investigation and legal analysis • Maintain substantive communications with courts and administrative agencies, clients and financial institutions, and opposing counsel • Draft and review pleadings, motions, briefs, appeals, agreements, and security instruments • Appear at hearings and trials as necessary • Collaborate with paralegals and centralized operations staff • Travel for hearings, proceedings, firm trainings, meetings, and firm-sponsored events as required

🎯 Requirements

• Juris Doctor from an ABA-accredited law school • Minimum of 3 years of substantive legal experience • Actively licensed in two or more of IN, NC, SC, TN, or VA; other active licensure considered • Strong written and oral advocacy skills • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with a remote team • High level of organization, time management, and personal accountability • Persistent, resourceful, and proactive problem-solving ability • Confidence to own outcomes from start to finish • Ability to travel for in-person hearings, firm trainings, meetings, and other firm-sponsored events • Proficiency with Mac/Apple operating systems, Microsoft Office 365, Adobe Acrobat, timekeeping and case management software, and legal research applications • Cover letter, resume, and at least three professional references required
