📋 Description

• Plan, procure, install, maintain, upgrade, replace, and perform preventive maintenance on electronic security systems, including annual IDS testing • Capture inventory of electronic security equipment and update records as equipment is added, upgraded, or removed • Provide technical assistance to team members and act as the technical expert for customers • Troubleshoot electrical systems, test devices, install electronic components and surveillance cameras, and use software monitoring systems • Follow layout sheets, building plans, floor plans, circuit schematics, descriptions, and manufacturer technical guidance • Document, schedule, and close work orders with detailed descriptions of completed work • Process customer-requested work orders received by email, phone, or text • Complete and send work orders and annual testing reports to the customer and project manager weekly • Provide monthly activity documentation to the project manager by the first day of the following month • Complete weekly expense reports as needed • Perform other job-related duties as assigned

🎯 Requirements

• Active Department of Treasury clearance or ability to obtain one • Approximately 3+ years of experience in government or commercial installations and locations preferred • Mandatory experience with Video Surveillance Systems (VSS), Access Control Systems (ACS), and Intrusion Detection Systems (IDS) • Experience and training in circuitry, electronics, basic wiring connections, fiber optic cabling and connections, VSS, ACS, IDS, CAT6 cabling runs, and troubleshooting • Experience installing, maintaining, upgrading, and supporting ACS, IDS, and VSS hardware and software • Experience installing equipment and configuring connections with centralized monitoring systems such as Identiv, Honeywell, and Bosch preferred • Low voltage electrician experience and formal training are a plus • Formal training in electronics and circuitry through technical school or industry-vendor training certifications • Skilled in using digital multimeters, toner tracers, lineman handsets, and video test monitors • Certification as an installer for equipment such as Identiv/Hirsch, Software House, Bosch, Honeywell, and Exacq • Ability to lift or move items up to 25 lbs • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite • Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record • Ability to obtain at least a Department of Treasury clearance • GED required • Must pass Cherokee Federal pre-employment qualifications
