📋 Description

• Address clients’ accounting and financial reporting needs • Ensure clients’ financial operations and controls meet standards and are error-free • Assist clients with complex accounting matters arising from regulatory or strategic business changes • Support implementation of new accounting standards • Provide on-call accounting advice • Consult on complex accounting transactions • Ensure quality work is timely and compliant with accounting standards and regulatory requirements • Engage audit committees and client management to identify, assess, and deliver timely, accurate advice • Identify applicable regulatory and market trends and become a trusted advisor • Participate in business development and cultivate client relationships • Mentor and support team members • Perform other duties assigned by Seniors, Supervisors, Managers, or Partners

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance • CPA preferred, or actively seeking CPA credential • 1+ years of public accounting experience preferred, including financial statement audits, assurance and advisory services, or corporate accounting/finance experience focused on complex accounting transactions • Hands-on experience with simple to complex accounting matters, focusing on audit and attestation • Strong technical skills and deep understanding of at least one or two specific industries • Strong written and verbal communication, presentation, client service, technical writing, and research skills • Leadership skills and ability to motivate others during tight deadlines or complex situations requiring on-the-spot thinking • Skills to train and mentor team members • Ability to work Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m. CST • Remote candidates must reside in the U.S.; preference given to applicants in Iowa, Minnesota, North Dakota, and Wisconsin
