📋 Description

• Define and drive the strategy for the C++ testing ecosystem • Design reusable testing frameworks, libraries, and developer tooling • Reduce duplication and improve engineering quality across teams • Integrate quality gates into CI/CD pipelines • Provide fast, actionable feedback and identify issues before production • Build platforms that expose test coverage, flaky-test trends, and pipeline health metrics • Enable data-driven engineering decisions • Mentor engineers and influence technical decisions across teams • Share testing expertise, promote engineering standards, and drive alignment without formal authority • Help evolve the testing ecosystem, reduce flaky tests and CI times, and build next-generation developer infrastructure

🎯 Requirements

• 10+ years of professional software engineering experience • Expert-level C++ skills • Experience using Python or similar languages for developer tooling, automation, and test infrastructure • Record of designing and maintaining reusable test frameworks or developer tools adopted by multiple engineering teams • Expertise with C++ testing and mocking frameworks such as GoogleTest, Google Mock, Catch2, or comparable technologies • Proficiency with build systems and dependency management tools, including Bazel, CMake, or similar technologies • Experience integrating automated testing and developer tooling into modern delivery workflows • Experience with Kubernetes, containerized environments, and microservices-based architectures • Familiarity with public cloud platforms including AWS, GCP, or Azure • Strong debugging and problem-solving skills • Experience using observability and diagnostic tools • Deep understanding of software design for testability, including dependency injection, interface design, deterministic testing, isolation, and automation standards • Track record of influencing engineering standards, driving technical adoption across teams, and communicating effectively with technical partners • Reliable internet connection and ability to work independently in a remote environment
