📋 Description

• Translate and influence the strategic vision into clear technical direction • Manage workstreams holistically across multiple teams and lead cross-team projects • Shape the software engineering roadmap • Drive architectural decisions focused on security, scalability, and reliability • Contribute to product threat modeling • Mentor peers and team members • Facilitate design sessions, brownbags, and technical demos • Maintain an active presence in the codebase • Build technical prototypes and personally implement high-risk components • Write clean, production-grade code • Identify, prioritize, and resolve risks in production systems • Design and implement monitoring tools to improve system visibility • Lead constructive postmortems and ensure reliable on-call support • Build and maintain collaborative cross-functional relationships • Scope complex work, communicate delivery trade-offs, and negotiate with partners to align outcomes

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related STEM field with 8+ years of experience, or Master’s degree with 6+ years of relevant experience, or PhD with 3+ years of relevant experience • 8+ years of software engineering experience writing, testing, and deploying production-grade code • Experience with enterprise IAM standards including SAML, OIDC, and OAuth • Hands-on implementation of IAM standards using secure coding principles, application security, and threat modeling • Experience with at least one backend language such as Go, Java, or Python • Ability to contribute to complex, multi-service codebases • Experience designing, building, and delivering highly scalable, secure, distributed systems • Ability to diagnose and resolve low-level system bottlenecks, memory leaks, and complex concurrency issues • Experience with Claude and other generative AI tools • Expertise in identity governance frameworks and secure lifecycle management for human and non-human identities • Ability to rapidly prototype Proofs of Concept for complex integrations • Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code and containerized orchestration platforms • Understanding of relational and non-relational databases • Understanding of asynchronous messaging, queuing, or event-streaming architectures • Experience with observability, distributed tracing, and diagnostic frameworks • Active contribution to the wider professional community through technical blogs, publications, or external presentations
