📋 Description

• Lead architecture and development of entitlements management, provisioning systems, and operational workflows for end-to-end Identity Platform customer lifecycle management • Liaise with US-based Product Management and cross-platform architecture teams • Establish scalable user experiences for Identity Platform users and identity-related workflows • Interpret business needs and recommend best practices • Solve complex, mission-critical problems and identify durable, innovative solutions • Influence the software engineering roadmap and architectural decisions focused on security, scalability, and reliability • Use AI-assisted development to deliver business outcomes • Provide expertise in software development lifecycle and agile engineering strategies across teams and partners • Lead and mentor engineers, improve technical designs, and advocate for customer-focused features • Communicate delivery trade-offs and negotiate with cross-functional partners • Build foundational systems for Cisco’s IAM Platform, which unifies identity lifecycle management and enforcement across human, non-human, and agentic identities

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree plus 8 years of related experience, or Master’s plus 6 years, or PhD plus 3 years’ related experience • Experience with distributed systems and microservices architecture • Experience coding in Python or other modern languages with asynchronous programming patterns • Experience with React and TypeScript, including reactive state management, modern build tooling, and component architecture at scale • Experience building secure frontend applications and micro-frontends designed for integration into a broader platform • Preferred: 8+ years of professional software engineering experience with 3+ years in a technical leadership role • Preferred: Experience building REST APIs with OpenAPI/Swagger specifications and code generation workflows • Preferred: Experience delivering business outcomes using AI-assisted development practices • Preferred: Experience delivering quality software through automated testing, continuous delivery, and agile methodologies • Preferred: Knowledge of OAuth 2.0, OIDC, SAML, WebAuthn/FIDO2, and mTLS • Preferred: Solid understanding of security best practices in web development
