📋 Description

• Provide clinical and administrative supervision of the Massachusetts market behavioral health team and oversee behavioral health operations • Evaluate and manage behavioral health clinicians and community health partners • Drive the team’s contribution to decreased total cost of care through high-quality behavioral health care for populations with complex needs • Meet quality goals during transitions of care and lead innovation and process improvement around interventions • Partner with market nursing, operational, and provider leadership to achieve market goals across all payor lines of business • Monitor panel size, key metrics, productivity, and effectiveness of behavioral health team members • Address market-specific staffing differences and ensure adherence to the centralized model • Serve as a qualified clinical supervisor for staff pursuing independent licensure • Collaborate with medical practice, operations leaders, and staff to identify challenges and develop solutions • Manage budgets and ensure resource stewardship • Lead behavioral health quality and safety reviews and adhere to quality metrics • Participate in behavioral health programming design and innovation and lead market implementation of initiatives • Provide short-term therapy, clinical support, and crisis intervention as needed • Onboard, coach, set expectations, conduct performance appraisals, provide career development, succession planning, corrective action, and recognition • Respond to urgent behavioral health escalations during certain working hours • Assist with initial and ongoing behavioral health training for Outreach Specialists, Community Health Partners, and Behavioral Health Specialists

🎯 Requirements

• Massachusetts residency is not required, although proximity to Massachusetts or a surrounding state is preferred • Candidates must currently hold an active LICSW, LCSW, LISW or LMHC in at least one state • Must be eligible for Massachusetts licensure and obtain the required Massachusetts license within the established timeframe after hire • 5-years post Master’s Degree • 3+ years of behavioral health management experience • Behavioral Health leadership (e.g., substance use disorders and serious mental illness) • Business Operations • Master’s Degree in Social Work • Active LICSW, LCSW, LISW, LMHC or equivalent independent license in the State(s) practicing • Medical clearance requirements, including evidence of immunity to MMR, Hepatitis B, Varicella, and a TB screen, or an approved medical or religious accommodation
