📋 Description

• Own the design system, including token architecture, Figma Variables, component library, Code Connect mappings, and documentation • Connect design and engineering, identifying drift and working with engineering to fix it • Set and uphold accessibility and quality standards • Work with PMs and product designers when systems decisions have product implications • Use AI tooling such as Claude Code and Cursor to close gaps and move work faster • Participate in product decisions alongside PMs and engineers from day one

🎯 Requirements

• Has built or substantially rebuilt a design system, not just contributed to one • Fluent in Figma Variables, design tokens, and the Figma-to-code bridge, whether that's Code Connect, Token Studio, or something equivalent • Has opinions about token naming, semantic structure, and governance, and can explain them clearly to an engineer or a PM • Uses AI tooling to actually close gaps, not just as an experiment • Some familiarity with investing or trading, from work or personal use • Comfortable in the product layer and understands the users at the end of decisions • Can work without much oversight • Experience with Token Studio or Style Dictionary is nice to have • Fintech or financial services background is nice to have • Exposure to React component architecture is nice to have • Deep trading domain expertise is nice to have
