📋 Description

• Design, develop, and implement robust, reusable software applications integrated with existing systems • Develop and test software to ensure production of quality products • Optimize software performance • Analyze programs and processes and recommend cost-effective, streamlined workflows • Support team development strategy and iterate with team members on design and development • Provide technical support to developers, including relational database design and client-side JavaScript strategies • Assess system-level decisions and their implications for subsystems and components • Make presentations to clinicians and hospital leaders • Observe workflows and translate clinical problems into healthcare solutions • Gather business and application-specific requirements and maintain project scope • Diagnose whether issues arise from hardware, operating systems, applications, or network failures • Operate independently on complex technical initiatives while mentoring junior and mid-level engineers • Translate ambiguous product, marketing, and clinical workflows into technical solutions • Drive technical standards, architectural consistency, and best practices • Collaborate with designers, product managers, QA, DevOps, and clinical stakeholders • Maintain security, performance, accessibility, and reliability standards • Contribute to the transition to a modern CMS enabling faster content delivery and more efficient workflows

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related field • Seven years of software development experience • Experience with SOA development using SOAP and REST • Mobile application development experience and associated libraries • Enterprise architecture experience with large-volume, high-availability enterprise applications • Strong knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, Git, and related tools • Ability to transition between different technologies and programming languages • Experience interfacing with internal and external customers • Advanced experience building production applications using Next.js and React, including server-side rendering, routing, caching, streaming, performance optimization, accessibility, and SEO • Experience with large monorepos and shared component libraries • Deep experience designing and maintaining Sanity schemas, structured content models, GROQ queries, custom previews, studio extensions, and publishing workflows • Ability to integrate Sanity into complex frontend architectures and support scalable editorial workflows across multiple sites and teams • Experience designing reusable systems, libraries, and frameworks that scale across teams • Ability to perform work in a stationary position for extended periods • Ability to travel throughout the hospital system • Ability to operate a computer and other office equipment • Ability to communicate and exchange accurate information • Must comply with the annual influenza prevention program or obtain an approved exemption • Post-offer controlled-substance testing required
