• Develop strategic partnerships and trusted relationships with customers, technical stakeholders, and decision-makers • Create strategic plans aligned with customers’ future goals • Provide technical thought leadership and articulate industry trends and insights • Orchestrate technical engagement and resources to meet customer needs • Overcome technical and competitive objections during the sales cycle • Assess product applications, demonstrate solution value, and drive customer adoption and consumption • Conduct product demonstrations and technical presentations remotely or at customer locations • Engage in continuous discovery with solutions architects, product specialists, and product managers • Build complex, multi-product proof-of-concept solutions • Manage customer concerns and coordinate with senior leaders and subject-matter experts • Conduct case reviews and proactively ensure customer environments run optimally • Maintain detailed customer, use-case, and technical-strategy records in Salesforce • Serve as an external spokesperson and evangelist for the company’s vision and technologies • Provide account updates to Sales and Sales Engineering management • Present effectively to executives, customers, and prospects • Lead or collaborate on go-to-market and sales-area initiatives • Maintain knowledge of competitive technologies and positioning • Provide team thought leadership, feedback, and best practices • Create and share innovative use cases and go-to-market strategies • Mentor and lead other ATS professionals • Collaborate across sales, product development, and marketing • Adapt technology strategies to create customer business value • Apply industry knowledge, including trends, challenges, and regulatory environments • Own outcomes and accountability for strategic goals • Drive revenue through upselling, cross-selling, and new business development • Align technology solutions with customers’ business strategies and outcomes • Support initiatives involving go-to-market strategies, product development, and direction • Provide thought leadership across multiple technologies
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required • 10+ years of technical customer service experience in high-tech, indirect sales, and/or procurement environments • Record of success in driving customer adoption of technology • Ability to travel to customer sites, corporate offices, and events • Understanding of CSG’s competitive domain and technologies • Broad understanding of DaaS / VDI, Applications, Enterprise Browser, Enterprise Mobility Management, Networking, Enterprise Security, Data Management, and Data Analytics • Strong understanding of business processes and their implementation into enterprise applications • Analytical and negotiation skills, particularly at the C-level • Ability to quickly grasp and explain technological and business concepts • Ability to evaluate and develop teams while mentoring and inspiring team members • Track record of delivering revenue numbers and supporting accurate forecasts • Ability to work independently with limited oversight • Ability to prioritize and manage diverse tasks, objectives, and risks • Excellent oral, written, and presentation skills • High level of specialized sales and product solution knowledge
