📋 Description

• Embed directly with a Praxent client and build AI systems inside their business • Own a workstream from understanding the client’s problem through delivery and documentation • Write most of the code, make day-to-day technical decisions, and take the workstream into production • Ship dependable agentic and LLM-backed features meeting functional and compliance requirements • Integrate AI with legacy cores, governed data, identity systems, and client infrastructure • Build evaluations, guardrails, runbooks, and handoffs for client operation • Collaborate with Senior Forward Deployed Engineers, Product Managers, client engineers, and other client stakeholders • Own the result from first commit through confident handoff

🎯 Requirements

• 3+ years shipping production software that other people depended on • Direct experience with LLM and agentic systems (RAG, agent frameworks, vector stores, evals) ideal • Fluency in Python and/or TypeScript • Comfort across the stack, a major cloud (AWS, Azure, or GCP), containers, and CI/CD • Track record of integrating with messy, real-world systems and data • Ability to hold a technical conversation with a client’s engineers and work directly with them • Experience in banking, lending, or payments strongly preferred • Experience working directly with risk and compliance partners and getting AI through model-risk or security review in a regulated organization strongly preferred • Currently and legally authorized to work in the United States without current or future sponsorship • International relocation or remote work arrangements outside of the U.S. will not be considered
