📋 Description

• Partner with Account Executives to qualify, progress, and close revenue opportunities with Fortune 500 prospects • Own the technical relationship with prospects through pre-sales and manage toward a technical win • Demo the Coder platform from developer, administrator, and AI-agent workflow perspectives • Install Coder on cloud and on-premises Kubernetes or VM infrastructure • Run proofs-of-concept demonstrating Coder’s value for agentic and LLM-powered development workflows • Develop subject-matter expertise in Cloud Development Environments, agentic AI development, and business impact • Represent prospect and customer feedback to Engineering and Product • Track and report product issues and feature requests using Linear • Troubleshoot Coder deployments, networking, and Kubernetes components during evaluations • Contribute pull requests to Coder documentation

🎯 Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Solutions Engineer selling infrastructure or developer tooling • Strong customer-facing skills with technical stakeholders • Ability to translate technical hurdles into business value in real time • Understanding of agentic AI software development use cases • Experience leading architecture demos and deep-dive troubleshooting sessions • Deep Linux fundamentals and command-line proficiency • 3+ years hands-on with Docker and Kubernetes • Experience with AWS, Google Cloud, or Microsoft Azure • 3+ years with Terraform or comparable infrastructure-as-code tooling • Solid grasp of networking, including ingress controllers, proxies, and load balancers • Experience with AI tooling at user and infrastructure levels, including Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, Cursor, model proxies, and LLM routing layers such as LiteLLM • Ability to speak credibly about enterprise evaluation and adoption of AI tooling • Startup-speed execution, ownership mindset, and player-coach attitude • Bonus: success at high-growth startups and larger software vendors • Bonus: experience deploying or supporting AI coding agents in customer environments • Bonus: background in CI/CD, DevOps, or developer-platform products • Bonus: experience in platform engineering or developer platform teams • Bonus: Kubernetes, AWS, or related certifications
