📋 Description

• Build and enhance automated, AI-first processes for legal e-billing and outside counsel management. • Drive implementation of outside counsel spend strategy, including reviewing and benchmarking law firm billing rates and fee structures. • Own the monthly accruals process and legal vendor onboarding workflows in partnership with FP&A. • Administer and maintain the Brightflag legal e-billing system and provide stakeholder training. • Analyze outside counsel spend data to produce reports, scorecards, and actionable insights. • Partner with FP&A, Sourcing, and EAA on budgets, forecasting, and vendor strategy. • Own and manage onboarding of law firms.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree with 3+ years of outside counsel management experience at an in-house legal practice, preferably at a high-growth technology company. • Experience managing legal accruals, forecasting inputs, and month-end financial processes with FP&A. • Hands-on experience with legal e-billing platforms such as Brightflag or comparable systems. • Proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets, including formulas, data manipulation, reconciliation, trackers, and analyses. • Experience project managing operational initiatives from inception to execution, including process design, tool implementation, and vendor onboarding workflows. • Experience with data tools such as SQL, Snowflake, Looker, or similar for reports and dashboards. • Responsible use of generative AI with human oversight to deliver business-ready outputs and improve workflow efficiency, cost, and quality.
