📋 Description

• Support the mental health of patients with cancer on an assigned patient caseload • Provide brief behavioral interventions tailored for the cancer setting • Screen and assess patients for common mental health and substance abuse disorders • Facilitate patient engagement and follow-up care • Provide patient education about common mental health and substance abuse disorders and available treatment options • Track treatment response and monitor changes in clinical symptoms and treatment side effects or complications • Support psychotropic medication management by monitoring treatment adherence, side effects, and effectiveness • Develop effective working relationships with partner oncology practice teams • Support partner oncology groups with identifying and intaking patients needing behavioral health support

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of relevant experience in a behavioral health, healthcare, or oncology setting (preferred) • Must hold one of the following clinical licenses in CA or HI: Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) • Dedicated to providing evidenced-based care and demonstrated ability to collaborate and communicate effectively in a team setting • Prior experience interacting with physicians and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team • Ability to operate with a high degree of autonomy • Passion for delivering quality behavioral health care
