📋 Description
• Evaluate and treat impairments involving speech and language • Evaluate and treat executive functioning and cognitive needs • Evaluate and treat dysphagia • Address augmentative communication needs • Create and implement integrated treatment plans with interdisciplinary teams • Provide individualized, one-on-one treatment in patients’ homes and communities • Accept PRN patients for the duration of their stay
🎯 Requirements
• Completion of Master’s degree in Speech Pathology • State licensure is required • Certificate of clinical competence from ASHA is required • Experience in the treatment of neurologically related disorders is strongly preferred • Excellent planning, organization, writing, and time management skills • Ability to communicate with families, professionals, and co-workers • Patient-centered care in patients’ homes and communities
