📋 Description

• Support a mission-critical application modernization program for a Department of War customer • Troubleshoot and resolve defects in Java Spring Boot applications • Develop and implement patches according to the customer's release schedule • Maintain existing applications while supporting transition to a modernized platform • Ensure stability of a legacy application through planned retirement without introducing enhancements • Document legacy application capabilities for the successor system • Review, understand, and safely modify unfamiliar codebases • Participate in two-week sprints and customer demonstrations • Travel 0–10% within the Washington, DC metropolitan area

🎯 Requirements

• 3+ years of experience working with Java, Spring Boot, and SQL • Demonstrated ability to understand, troubleshoot, and modify existing application code safely • Active Secret security clearance • U.S. citizenship required • Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a DoD security clearance • Experience with Amazon ECS/Fargate and AWS GovCloud preferred
