📋 Description

• Respond to South Carolina Medicaid member inquiries using a computerized system, standard scripts, and procedures • Gather information, assess caller needs, research and resolve inquiries, and document calls • Provide information regarding member eligibility • Assist callers with completing Medicaid applications and provide application-status updates • Follow documented call-handling and escalation policies and procedures • Advocate for Medicaid members to ensure their needs are met • Navigate multiple computer screens and applications • Use five systems to gather information and document in up to three systems • Work 40 hours per week in an 8-hour shift after four weeks of training

🎯 Requirements

• Must be 18 years of age or older • High School Diploma or equivalent education required • Must be able to submit to a pre-employment screening • Legal authorization to work permanently in the United States without requiring visa transfer or sponsorship • Must pass the Call Center – Service Skills Assessment and Internet Speed test • Minimum of 1 year call center experience in telephone customer service or related experience • Computer literacy and ability to use multiple programs and navigate multiple screens • Comfortable working within established processes and procedures • Bilingual English/Spanish skills preferred
