📋 Description

• Contact customers with past-due accounts to secure payment and resolve outstanding balances • Negotiate payments and secure payments • Provide professional, courteous customer service while discussing sensitive financial matters • Accurately document account activity in company computer systems • Follow company policies and applicable first-party collections regulations • Identify customer issues and recommend appropriate payment solutions • Monitor accounts for timely follow-up and payment resolution • Meet or exceed call volume, collection, and quality metrics • Collect a minimum of $5,000 in payments per week • Make 110+ outbound and/or inbound calls daily regarding past-due accounts • Collaborate with supervisors and team members to improve collection performance

🎯 Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required • 1–2 years of experience in collections and/or sales • Strong communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills • Proven ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume call environment • Advanced computer skills and experience with CRM or collections software required • Ability to remain professional and empathetic during difficult conversations • Ability to negotiate and persuade customers • Ability to work in a performance-driven environment with measurable call and cash collection targets • High-speed internet required • Must work one Saturday morning per month • Available for either Monday–Friday late shift (10:30 AM–7:00 PM ET) or early shift (8:00 AM–4:30 PM ET), plus one Saturday monthly (9:00 AM–1:00 PM ET) • Connect America is a drug-free workplace and participates in E-Verify
