📋 Description

• Develop database integration solutions, including requirements specifications, impact analysis, functional and technical design, programming, documentation, testing, data conversion, and implementation • Work with business partners, analysts, and project managers to design and support new or modified database systems • Provide technical leadership and mentoring to help developers improve their skills • Lead complex production support initiatives and apply long-term solutions as appropriate • Provide on-call support for database integration solutions • Track project hours in time management software • Perform other duties or special projects as assigned • Design, develop, unit test, and deploy data integration and data migration solutions • Document technical specifications, deployment documents, and support procedure manuals • Establish and maintain partnerships with lines of business for system design and support • Collaborate with IT teams on projects and production support • Provide training and mentoring through knowledge transfer workshops and one-on-one sessions

🎯 Requirements

• Authorized to work for any employer in the U.S.; employment visa sponsorship is unavailable • Strong working knowledge of SQL Programming Language • Strong working knowledge of SQL Server and/or Oracle relational database systems • Knowledge of cloud data solutions such as Databricks • Strong working knowledge of source control applications such as GIT or Bitbucket • Strong working knowledge of data integration tools such as SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS), Databricks transformation capabilities, and replication engines • Strong working knowledge of application development process principles and techniques • Strong working knowledge of system integration and software dependencies principles and techniques • Strong working knowledge of logical and physical database design concepts • Basic working knowledge of business intelligence applications such as Microsoft Power BI • Ability to analyze functional requirements and build technical solutions • Ability to analyze data and develop logical solutions to problems • Ability to establish development estimates and meet agreed-upon target dates • Ability to lead complex production support initiatives • Ability to provide accurate scope analysis and estimates for large projects • Ability to conduct knowledge transfer sessions and technical walk-throughs • Ability to work independently while adhering to company policies and standards • Effective and cooperative interaction with business partners and co-workers • Effective verbal and written communication skills • Flexibility and ability to manage multiple projects concurrently
