The program offers grade-level courses, college and career readiness, clubs and socialization opportunities, and technology support across multiple U. S. states.

📋 Description

• Virtually manage instructional programs from a home office within Tennessee • Deliver daily dynamic synchronous instruction supporting curriculum and Tennessee learning standards to students • Support the instructional program through asynchronous and synchronous web conferencing sessions • Complete grading, create progress reports, and conduct parent conferences • Communicate with parents, students, teachers, and curriculum specialists to develop and update Personal Learning Plans and schedules • Score assessments, provide feedback, suggest instructional strategies, monitor assignments, and coach special projects • Develop general knowledge of the program curriculum and detailed knowledge of assigned courses • Review curriculum and devise alternate approaches to improve student understanding • Provide students and parents with alternate strategies and assistance with assignments and projects • Collaborate with teachers, staff learning specialists, Advisory Teachers, and School Counselors to support student progress and family communications • Maintain current student records and data, including cumulative files, online information, attendance, and contact logs • Coordinate social activities and relevant student field trips; manage regional field trips and integrate them into the curriculum • Create and maintain a virtual school community • Participate in state testing organization and administration • Participate in student recruiting sessions and marketing efforts requiring teacher representation • Attend field trips, community activities, and occasional in-person professional development • Perform other duties as assigned

🎯 Requirements

• Highly qualified and certified to teach grades 4-8 in Tennessee • Strong technology skills, especially with Microsoft Office products and Google Suite • Excellent oral and written communication skills • Highly organized and punctual • Customer-focused approach • High degree of flexibility • Demonstrated ability to work well in a fast-paced environment • Team-player track record • Willingness to travel for marketing and state testing events, potentially including occasional overnight travel • Ability to work occasional evening hours as needed to support families • Ability to work remotely • 2-step authentication required to set up login to all systems if given a job offer
