📋 Description

• Provide explicit instruction to students in a face-to-face setting using an online teaching model and materials • Provide virtual teaching, instructional guidance, and general strategies for a caseload of students • Develop, write, and help implement IEPs and 504 plans • Evaluate tests and assessments, complete report cards, and conduct parent conferences • Communicate with parents and learning coaches to ensure IEP goals and student needs are addressed • Consult with teachers and coordinate specially designed instruction defined in IEPs • Provide direct student services through web-conferencing software as needed • Schedule, organize, and conduct virtual IEP-related meetings • Participate in the school’s Student Support Team • Help teachers and learning coaches develop and implement program modifications and strategies • Assist with IEP paperwork, documentation, and procedures • Help locate and negotiate contracts with related-service providers • Maintain accurate data in the Learning Management System and special education software • Assist with state testing and coordinate IEP-required special adaptations • Perform other duties as assigned

🎯 Requirements

• Has and maintains a Special Education Utah educator license • Utah residency required • Demonstrates multi-cultural awareness • Strong technology skills, especially with Microsoft and Google suites • Excellent oral and written communication skills • Student-centered approach • Adapts easily to change • Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment • Ability to collaborate and work well independently • Willingness to travel occasionally for school events, potentially overnight • Consistent, distraction-free workspace with reliable Wi-Fi • Must be able to use a personal electronic device and email address for 2-step authentication
