📋 Description

• Leverage SIF practices to enhance impact on client engagements and support development of new solutions • Serve as the main client interface in project engagements • Design and incubate new methodologies, perspectives, and ways of working for global adoption • Develop, deliver, and enhance safety and risk offerings, particularly Serious Injury & Fatality prevention • Work cross-functionally across global practices, industries, and functions • Maintain strong industry knowledge and monitor trends, pricing, and new technology • Identify opportunities, risks, solutions, and key trends; develop and enhance intellectual property • Develop and publish thought leadership and new perspectives • Contribute to global SIF-related thought leadership and bring best practices to Safety & Risk, OPEX, and ESG communities • Coach others on dss+ Core Values and Mission Critical Behaviors • Oversee project team performance and delivery quality; provide guidance and feedback • Support junior resources with project management, deliverables, and client interactions • Implement project planning, governance, and risk management practices • Manage large engagements or multiple smaller engagements simultaneously • Structure problems to develop insights and recommendations that close client performance gaps • Write and present independent analyses and recommendations to clients • Facilitate team and client meetings to drive decisions, alignment, and change • Manage senior client stakeholder interactions and build rapport • Conduct peer reviews and support quality control of client deliverables • Provide quality assurance for SIF Prevention System centerline deliveries • Integrate SIF principles into broader operational risk, OPEX, and ESG programs • Provide domain expertise for proposals and client meetings • Draft and present proposals; define scope, objectives, deliverables, and timeframes • Act as a trusted advisor to senior executives, from C-suite to front-line leaders • Contribute to business development, marketing campaigns, collateral, conference presentations, account teams, pipeline development, and sales opportunities

🎯 Requirements

• Minimum bachelor’s degree in a business-related major (i.e. management or finance), safety or risk management, or similar engineering or science degree • Relevant post-graduate degree in field of expertise is valued • 10+ years of associated industry / technical and client-facing experience / exposure • Professional Safety, Health or Risk Certifications (CSP, CIH) are a plus • Prior experience in established consulting firms • Technical knowledge and expertise in relevant field of experience is preferred • Project Management and strategic planning • Excellent problem-solving skills • Analytical skills, including quantitative and qualitative analysis • Time management / prioritization skills • Stakeholder engagement and relationship management • Business development • Willingness to travel • This role can be based anywhere in the US • Travel of 70%+ is required
