📋 Description

• Provide integrated strategic planning and communication support for the Military Reintegration and Transition Portfolio • Partner with clients to prioritize organizational goals and help launch new initiatives • Develop prevention resources and draft concise portfolio updates • Design and manage actionable roadmaps, ensuring program needs are met • Facilitate clear, consistent communication across stakeholders and cross-workstream team members • Analyze, develop, and execute written/visual communication content related to suicide prevention, intervention, and postvention • Design creative messaging products and campaigns to promote suicide prevention efforts related to military reintegration • Increase audience/user adoption of tools and resources • Provide program and administrative support, including tracking actions, coordinating requirements, and supporting portfolio execution • Draft summaries, status updates, and tasker inputs based on client guidance • Organize documents, compile research notes, and maintain reference materials • Support transitioning service members and advance the Department of War’s mission

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Public Health, or related field • 2-3 years of directly related experience • Demonstrated skills in Strategic Planning, with experience managing roadmaps and exercising prioritization matrices • Expert in developing communication strategies and materials such as fact sheets, one-pagers, pocketbooks, multi-media content and PowerPoint presentations • Proven ability to provide program and administrative support, including tracking actions, coordinating requirements, and supporting portfolio execution • Experience drafting simple summaries, status updates, and tasker inputs based on guidance from clients • Strong organizational and knowledge management skills for document organization, research note compilation, and maintenance of reference materials • Strong written and verbal communication skills to support development of analyses, summaries, and other prevention response materials • Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities within an evolving mission environment • Experience working in a military environment or with military personnel • Some knowledge or ability to learn quickly about transitioning service members/military reintegration • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with professionalism • Experience in Adobe InDesign or Illustrator • Experience in a DoW or government agency creating communication materials for military audiences • U.S. citizenship required; citizenship confirmed via I-9/E-Verify at the start of employment
