📋 Description

• Lead community engagement across assigned markets and strengthen CoreWeave's social license to operate. • Build trusted local relationships and guide cross-functional engagement strategies. • Ensure community considerations inform site selection, permitting, construction, and operations. • Independently assess local risks and opportunities and translate community developments into business recommendations. • Lead development and negotiation of community benefit agreements. • Support PILOTs, RDAs, and other development agreements. • Oversee local partnerships and community investments. • Direct employee-driven community impact with CoreWeave Cares and Employee Action Networks. • Own cross-functional community engagement strategies with Government Affairs, Communications, People, Legal, Development, Operations, and other teams. • Lead Community Affairs input into site selection and project due diligence. • Assess community sentiment, political dynamics, stakeholder priorities, local opposition, and reputational risk. • Represent CoreWeave in community, political, and public forums. • Develop and execute market-specific engagement plans, milestones, action plans, and escalation paths. • Establish KPIs and provide senior leaders with reporting and recommendations. • Manage budgets for engagement activities, events, sponsorships, partnerships, and community investments. • Develop scalable processes, stakeholder-management practices, and coordination models for the Community Affairs function.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Public Affairs, Political Science, Urban Planning, or a related field. • 10+ years of progressive experience in community affairs, stakeholder engagement, social performance, public affairs, government affairs, or external relations. • Experience supporting data centers, energy, or other large-scale critical-infrastructure development, including permitting or entitlement processes. • Demonstrated experience independently leading complex, multi-market stakeholder strategies and translating local developments into clear business recommendations. • Demonstrated success building trusted relationships with senior government officials, community organizations, business groups, labor representatives, and other local stakeholders. • Experience advising senior leaders and coordinating specialized cross-functional teams in politically sensitive or high-visibility environments. • Experience using stakeholder-management tools and metrics to track engagement activity, risks, commitments, and outcomes. • Ability to travel up to 50% and manage priorities across multiple markets. • Access to export controlled information requires the applicant to meet applicable U.S. Government export-control eligibility requirements.
