📋 Description

• Manage and grow an approximately $3M territory • Identify opportunities to expand customer relationships, share of wallet, and market share • Work with distributors, one-step dealers, and independent lumber yards • Maintain current business while prospecting and developing new opportunities • Sell metal roofing, wall panel systems, trims, and accessory products • Serve residential, agricultural, and commercial markets • Conduct customer education and contractor training programs • Support contractor pull-through sales initiatives • Collaborate with operations, branch leadership, estimating, and customer support teams • Manage a high volume of customer interactions and transactions • Support customers through product and system integration initiatives • Travel throughout New Mexico and western Texas territory • Conduct customer claim and project reviews, including rooftop inspections

🎯 Requirements

• 3–5+ years of sales experience preferred • Experience within building materials, metal roofing, construction products, or adjacent industries strongly preferred • Understanding of dealer/distribution sales channels highly preferred • Experience with estimating, project management, inside sales, or customer-facing construction support roles valued • Strong relationship-building skills with commitment to consistent customer follow-up • Self-starter mentality; ability to prioritize, manage multiple opportunities, and work independently • Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, customer-focused sales environment • Excellent communication, organization, and time management skills • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation • Ability to meet with customers regularly throughout the territory • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field preferred • Superb interpersonal skills and ability to establish credibility and rapport with customers • Strong computer proficiency, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook • Ability to learn and adapt to multiple systems and technologies • Ability to travel up to 60% throughout the assigned territory • Ability to climb ladders and inspect rooftops • Occasional lifting of product samples and materials may be required • Must be at least 18 years of age to apply
