📋 Description
• Reviews/Audits complex coding audits. • Ensures compliance with AHA, CMS, AMA, AHIMA, AAPC, and official coding guidelines. • Supervises a team of auditors. • Provides second-level review, client deliverables, coding education, and quality assurance • Conducts training for auditors and monitors productivity and quality standards. • Prepares detailed summary reports of findings and ensures timely deliverables.
🎯 Requirements
• RHIA, RHIT, CCS, or CPC credential required. • Minimum 5 years’ experience in DRG auditing, coding, or HIM consulting. • Previous supervisory or lead auditor experience preferred. • Strong knowledge of ICD-10-CM/PCS, CPT, MS-DRG, APR-DRG, and reimbursement methodologies. • Excellent analytical, communication, and report-writing skills. • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced consulting environment.
