📋 Description

• Deliver direct client counseling services to families, couples, and children, including patients, parents, and siblings • Utilize therapeutic approaches tailored to client needs, including Narrative Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Play Therapy, and Solution Focused Collaborative Therapy • Attend to relational ethics while collaborating with interdisciplinary team members and families • Engage team members to ensure wrap-around family support and share information and ideas • Participate in family care meetings with other providers • Comply with clinic policies and applicable state, federal, and licensing board laws and regulations • Support team members’ adherence to organizational standards and policies • Maintain documentation and communication according to legal, ethical, and company standards • Safeguard patient information in accordance with HIPAA regulations

🎯 Requirements

• Current and unrestricted license to practice in the state of Arizona is required • Master’s degree or doctorate in psychology, counseling, marriage and family therapy, or a related field • Current and unrestricted license and/or certification required to practice within the clinical domain • Ability to obtain cross-state licensure in new states as indicated by current business needs • Knowledge of empirically supported psychotherapy treatment approaches, including cognitive and behavioral, postmodern/post-structural, social-constructionism, and narrative therapy • Commitment to exceptional client care and using client feedback to improve care • Open-mindedness and desire to learn from other professional disciplines, colleagues, and families • 1 year or more of experience working with children or families with developmental differences • Ability to occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds • Knowledge of HIPAA regulations • Compliance with state, federal, and licensing board laws, requirements, regulations, confidentiality, and mandated reporting
