📋 Description

• Create and execute complex SQL queries • Provide subject matter expertise in Data Mapping, Programming, and Ingestion workflows • Perform data analysis, data mining, and investigation using SQL and/or Oracle • Deploy, configure, and monitor production solutions and services • Mentor junior-level engineers and train new and junior-level system analysts • Identify organizational improvements and recommend business process enhancements • Validate new technology requirements are integrated within existing processes and product functionality • Write technical defect requirements and create or update standard operating procedures • Participate in project meetings and contribute to the SDLC • Troubleshoot and provide solutions for complex problems • Monitor system functions and assist with resolving processing problems • Research and analyze client data inquiries using internal data sources • Perform implementation functions, including testing new file extracts and providing defect and enhancement support to development and product teams • Provide technical operational expertise to Engineering teams for troubleshooting and new functionality requirements • Develop innovative ideas using multi-disciplinary knowledge • Complete projects associated with departmental objectives

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or related • Eight (8) years of experience in data analysis and data pipeline development in the media, retail, healthcare or other payments processing industry(ies) • Eight (8) years of experience with data aggregation, standardization, linking, quality check mechanisms and reporting • Eight (8) years of experience with RDBMS (Oracle, MS SQL Server, Teradata, and Snowflake) and using SQL or other data integration/ETL tools • Eight (8) years of experience with programming languages, operating systems, computer hardware platforms • Five (5) years of experience working with relational databases and ETL database functions • Five (5) years of experience in a data production environment supporting System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) process • Any amount of experience with Big data technologies including Hadoop and Spark • Any amount of experience with ticketing and documentation tools including Jira • Any amount of experience applying best practices in coding including development and deployment • Any amount of experience with Microsoft Office Suite including PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Outlook and Project • Any and all experience may be gained concurrently • Ability to work remotely anywhere in the U.S.
