📋 Description

• Design and develop high-quality, maintainable software modules for Cotiviti’s product suite • Conduct unit and integration testing using appropriate methodologies and techniques • Analyze requirements and specifications and create detailed implementation designs • Analyze and resolve software issues originating from internal or external customers • Continuously update professional knowledge of technologies selected for the product suite • Manage change control and maintain information in written and electronic form • Review software engineering approaches to proposed solutions for adherence to best practices • Mentor team members in software engineering methods and techniques • Collaborate with Senior Developers, QA, Product Owners, Project Management, and other stakeholders • Complete annual performance-review goals, special projects, and other assigned duties

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, or related field or equivalent work experience • 2-3 years' experience with software engineering best practices such as continuous integration, unit testing, refactoring, and code reviews • Understanding of Software Development Lifecycle Methodologies with exposure to or participation in Agile/Scrum techniques • Strong understanding of OOP and common design patterns • Proficiency working with large data sets • Experience optimizing and tuning SQL queries, stored procedures, and triggers • Ability to execute project deliverables within estimated timelines in a dynamic, fast-paced environment • Strong analytical, organizational, and interpersonal skills • Good written and verbal communication skills • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment • 2-3 years' experience with Java or Python • 2-3 years' experience with VBScript or PowerShell • 2-3 years' experience with Microsoft SQL Server, HBASE, or Hive • 2-3 years' experience with React, Cloudera Hadoop, or Appian • 2-3 years' experience with web services using Java/Spring Boot • 2-3 years' experience in container technology and orchestration platforms such as Kubernetes • 2-3 years' experience with Kafka stream processing using Kafka Streams and KSQL • 2-3 years' experience with Git • Experience with Atlassian suite, including Jira and Confluence, is an added advantage • Must be able to perform duties with or without reasonable accommodation • Must be able to provide a dedicated, secure work area • Must be able to provide high-speed internet access / connectivity and office setup and maintenance
