• Build and maintain external client relationships and act as the internal client advocate • Drive client success through product utilization, upgrades, group harvest sales, and revenue retention • Protect monthly revenue where long-term client contracts may not be in place • Identify customer interest in additional products, harvest additional accounts, and expand or upsell product functionality • Collaborate with other Performance Managers to provide seamless experiences for multi-product clients • Manage assigned account portfolios and revenue-retention results independently • Build upgrade and harvest revenue opportunities • Engage clients through virtual screen shares and occasional onsite visits • Improve product utilization, business processes, and client goal attainment • Develop relationships with dealership client staff at all levels • Create action plans for at-risk clients to retain relationships • Identify barriers and core problems preventing clients from meeting business objectives • Make strategic recommendations and guide clients in leveraging product capabilities • Monitor account performance, trends, system red flags, and emergencies • Improve processes and systems through client engagement • Maintain product knowledge and conduct training on new releases and enhancements • Identify and moderate complex issues independently • Analyze software ROI and make recommendations to clients • Assist or train new and less experienced Performance Managers • Maintain client relationships and internal metrics • Assist with or own special projects, including dealer workshops/webinars, product ownership, new-hire training, and vendor events • Complete internal tasks and trainings on time • Perform other duties as assigned
• Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline and 4 years’ experience in a related field, or a master’s degree and 2 years’ experience, or a Ph.D. and up to 1 year of experience, or 8 years’ experience in a related field • Valid driver's license required • 4+ years experience in a retail automotive dealership setting preferred • 4+ years managing digital marketing strategies for a single rooftop or dealer group preferred • Proven sales acumen • In-depth conceptual and practical knowledge of client engagement and retail automotive • Proficiency in Microsoft suite technologies, screen share technologies, and other relevant software systems • Ability to work effectively with all levels at an automotive dealership or dealer group • Ability to track progress using software and collaborate with software partners • Expert-level verbal and written communication • Exceptional listening skills and ability to detect problems/risks remotely • Strong client focus and customer service skills • Persistent, proactive, highly motivated self-starter passionate about client satisfaction • Ability to work remotely and independently with limited supervision • Ability to work collaboratively through remote sharing technologies • Ability and eagerness to learn complex technology and basic understanding of web-based systems • Ability to travel potentially up to 50%, including in-market, overnight, and occasional weekend travel • Must clear a pre-employment drug test • Must be currently authorized to work in the United States for any employer without current or future sponsorship • No OPT, CPT, STEM/OPT, or visa sponsorship now or in the future
