📋 Description

• Lead technical discovery engagements with customers to uncover business goals, pain points, and drivers • Translate requirements into tailored, outcome-focused cloud and infrastructure solutions • Run workshops, whiteboarding sessions, and stakeholder interviews • Architect hybrid and multi-cloud environments aligned with performance, availability, security, and compliance needs • Scope, architect, and present hosted cloud and core offering solutions • Identify public cloud needs and coordinate public cloud specialists for deeper scoping and solution design • Act as technical lead throughout the sales cycle from discovery to hand-off • Collaborate with sales, product, and specialist teams on account strategy • Participate in RFPs, solution reviews, and scope definitions • Design security architectures including MDR, SOCaaS, IAM, SIEM/SOAR, and vulnerability management • Ensure solutions align with HIPAA, PCI, GDPR, ISO, and NIST standards • Design secure networks integrating SD-WAN, VPN, DNS, TCP/IP, and firewalls across on-premises and cloud environments • Stay current on cloud, AI/ML, automation, and cybersecurity technologies • Educate clients and internal teams on current and future-state capabilities • Translate RapidScale technology solutions and roadmap items into current and future business outcomes

🎯 Requirements

• BA/BS degree with 6+ years of experience, or MS degree with 4+ years of experience, or Ph.D. with 1 year of experience, or 10 years of overall experience without a degree • Professional-level public cloud certification in AWS, Azure, or Google • Demonstrated experience working in the context of a sales team • Strong presentation, written, and verbal communication skills • Deep knowledge of private cloud and data center architectures, including VMware, Citrix, storage, and networking • High-level knowledge of AWS, Azure, and GCP and how they differ from traditional IT approaches • Experience with managed security services and designing secure, compliant architectures • Strong understanding of hybrid connectivity, SD-WAN, VPN, DNS, and firewalls • Design experience with SAN and NAS, backup and data protection, replication, and disaster recovery • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure as code, and modern deployment practices is a plus • Must currently be authorized to work in the United States for any employer without current or future sponsorship • No OPT, CPT, STEM/OPT, or visa sponsorship now or in the future • Willingness to travel 50% of the time
