📋 Description

• Develop, test, debug and maintain new and existing applications according to established standards and business requirements • Build scalable, secure and maintainable web applications using Python and AWS services • Contribute to creating and executing test plans to ensure code quality • Produce and maintain technical documentation, including design specifications and implementation details • Collaborate with senior developers and cross-functional teams to deliver features on time • Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement of code quality • Gain understanding of PCI compliance and relevant industry regulations and apply them in development • Support analysis and documentation of detailed software requirements • Perform basic duties under general supervision • Perform more complex duties under close supervision and guidance

🎯 Requirements

• B.S. or MS Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or equivalent work experience • 2+ years demonstrated experience with Python and associated Python frameworks • Applicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S. • CPI is unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment Visa at this time • Passionate about programming • Self-motivated to learn new technologies and tools • Creative, self-starter committed to delivering high quality solutions within agreed upon timelines • Highly analytical, natural problem-solver and strong debugger • Strong written and verbal communicator • Able to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines • Experience using AI-powered development tools such as Copilot and Claude • Familiarity with Python frameworks such as Django and FastAPI • Familiarity with Docker and containerization • Basic experience with AWS services such as Lambda, S3, API Gateway, or DynamoDB • Understanding of RESTful APIs and web services • Exposure to object-oriented design and SOLID principles • Exposure to version control systems such as Git and collaborative development workflows • Awareness of CI/CD pipelines and automated testing practices • Knowledge of front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript is a plus • Interest in secure coding practices and data protection standards such as PCI
