📋 Description

• Lead and manage multiple software engineering teams • Define and drive technical strategy and roadmap for engineering groups • Collaborate with product leadership and stakeholders to align priorities and ensure delivery • Facilitate planning, execution, and timely delivery of complex software solutions and features • Collaborate with product managers and stakeholders to define and prioritize the product backlog • Champion engineering and agile best practices, operational excellence, and continuous improvement • Lead and mentor software engineers through coaching, feedback, and development opportunities • Manage resources and hiring while ensuring fiscal responsibility • Drive technical decision-making and scalable architectural choices • Establish and monitor KPIs for engineering quality, productivity, and delivery • Communicate strategy, progress, and challenges to senior leadership • Lead modernization of the core Order Management System toward a cloud-native, event-driven ecosystem • Partner with Product, Retail, Supply Chain, and Fulfillment leadership to support high-throughput transactions and omni-channel experiences

🎯 Requirements

• 8+ years of software engineering experience • 3+ years in a management role overseeing multiple teams or a significant engineering function • 5+ years of hands-on experience building, scaling, and maintaining enterprise-grade Order Management Systems • Experience with IBM Sterling OMS, Blue Yonder, Manhattan Active Omni, or custom microservices OMS • Experience supporting BOPIS, Ship-from-Store, curbside pickup, and reverse logistics • Experience with cloud-native applications using AWS, GCP, or Azure • Experience with event-driven architecture using Kafka, RabbitMQ, or EventBridge • Experience with REST/GraphQL APIs and microservices patterns • Deep understanding of software development processes, agile methodologies, and modern engineering practices at scale • Strong leadership and organizational management skills, including experience managing managers or multiple complex teams • Strategic thinking, project management, and execution skills • Strong technical acumen and ability to guide architectural decisions • Experience with resource planning, budget management, and strategic hiring • Understanding of cloud technologies, scalable architectures, and DevOps principles • Strong business awareness and ability to translate business needs into technical strategies • Understanding of financial implications in decision-making • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience • Proven track record leading and delivering large-scale, complex software projects in an agile environment • Experience managing and developing software engineers • Direct experience leading a legacy-to-cloud OMS modernization or SaaS migration without business disruption • Deep understanding of payments integration, tax processing, and financial ledger reconciliation within the order lifecycle • Authorization to work in the United States
