📋 Description

• Plan and deliver engaging, high-quality live IG Physics lessons tailored to individual student needs • Teach Physics concepts including mechanics, forces and motion, electricity, waves, energy, thermal physics, magnetism and atomic physics • Develop students’ scientific reasoning, mathematical problem-solving and practical application of Physics concepts • Use teaching strategies and digital tools to create an interactive and supportive online learning environment • Assess student progress, provide targeted feedback and adapt teaching approaches • Prepare students for IG Physics examinations and assessments, including exam technique and confidence in applying concepts • Plan and communicate course schedules, lesson content and assessment timelines • Set homework and design and administer assessments • Develop educational materials and contribute to CGA learning resources • Maintain a professional and well-organized online classroom and learning environment

🎯 Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years’ teaching experience in a school setting; tutoring experience cannot be counted toward this requirement • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Physics, Science, Education or a related field • Strong subject knowledge in Physics • Ability to explain complex scientific concepts clearly and effectively • Exceptional communication skills for interaction with students, parents and the CGA team • Familiarity with online teaching platforms • Passion for innovative, technology-enabled education • Preferred: previous experience teaching IG Physics at secondary/high school level • Preferred: experience teaching an international curriculum, particularly Cambridge International or Pearson Edexcel • Preferred: strong knowledge of IG Physics curriculum requirements, assessments and examination techniques • Preferred: recognized teaching qualification, such as a postgraduate certificate in education, teaching degree or teaching license • Preferred: previous online teaching experience
