📋 Description

• Serve clients within the Office of the CFO at private equity portfolio companies • Serve as a GovCon subject matter expert for portfolio company management and sponsors • Lead development and operationalization of wrap rate processes and planning tools • Build indirect rate structures, provisional billing rates, and rate variance analyses • Develop planning and reporting tools for cost-plus, T&M, and FFP contracts • Develop bid and proposal pricing support, rate build-ups, should-cost analyses, and competitive positioning • Lead financial management capabilities, multi-year financial modeling, and annual target-setting • Translate strategic targets into operating and capital budgets and forecasts • Prepare financial and operational management reports and KPI reporting • Assess and enhance analytical resources, tools, models, metrics, and methodologies • Build models for financial covenants and operating requirements in debt agreements • Review and assist with treasury and cash flow forecasting, including 13-week cash flow models • Develop relationships with portfolio company representatives and private equity sponsors • Collaborate with CrossCountry team members to scope and deliver client services • Contribute to firm-approved AI-enabled client solutions • Identify compliant opportunities to use emerging AI tools and techniques • Participate in business development and market CrossCountry services • Mentor team members, provide feedback and performance reviews, and help resolve complex project issues

🎯 Requirements

• 9+ years of corporate FP&A and/or consulting experience • Exposure to middle-market, private equity-owned businesses and significant experience in the GovCon space • Experience in middle-market consulting environments and understanding of private equity sponsors and portfolio companies • Deep GovCon industry experience, ideally in the middle-market space • Experience bridging technical FP&A skills with hands-on knowledge of DCAA/DCMA compliance, cost accounting standards, and government contract economics • Demonstrated experience developing, implementing, and operationalizing wrap rates and indirect rate structures for government contractors • Strong working knowledge of FAR, DFARS, CAS, and DCAA audit processes • Incurred cost submission experience using the ICE model strongly preferred • Success building and developing strong client relationships • Diverse industry experience, potentially including manufacturing, SaaS, healthcare, and business services • Fluent knowledge of income statement, balance sheet, and statement of cash flows elements and drivers • Strong understanding of cash flow dynamics, debt structures and covenant reporting, value creation plans, and exit and diligence processes • Advanced financial modeling skills • Advanced expertise with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint • Experience with data analytics tools such as Tableau, Power BI, Alteryx, SQL, and Snowflake • Knowledge of GovCon ERP and EPM platforms such as Deltek Costpoint, Unanet, JAMIS, and OneStream • Ability to responsibly explore and adopt firm-approved AI tools • Openness to learning emerging technologies including AI and automation • Experience mentoring and developing junior team members • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance • Willingness to travel up to 40% • Preference for candidates based in the DC Metro area • U.S. Citizenship or Lawful Permanent Residency (Green Card) strongly preferred
